Milestones

Here we are in May already! The time does fly. It has been almost a month since our last post and wow have things changed. Avery and Wyatt are now two months old - hitting that momentous milestone yesterday. They have surpassed their preemie weights of 5.11 and 4.15 lbs. by a long shot and now weigh 10 lbs (Wyatt) and 8.14 lbs (Avery). They got their first round of shots last Friday and took to them as we had suspected - they cried, but I think they handled it like champs. I did get a pouty lip from Wyatt after the ordeal was over and I melted. I'm done for if he uses that later!

Another milestone - they have their first cold. Yes, both of them! They are doing extremely well with it and luckily mom has not gotten sick (yet!).

As for mom and pop - we crazily decided to put our house on the market. It's amazing how small a house can feel after adding just two tiny little babies. In all reality we can live here for awhile yet, but since our neighborhood is selling houses like crazy we are going to try to take advantage of it! We have had 4 showings since we first put it on the market last Wednesday and already had an offer. From the sounds of it, the offer is a no go so on with the showings. Luckily Wyatt and Avery don't make too much of a mess yet and it's no big deal to tidy up the house for a potential buyer. We'll see where this new endeavor takes us.
