Proud Big Brother and Big Sister

Avery and Wyatt are such great brother and sister to sweet Baby Rowynn.  Each time she is awake they run to her side to kiss, hug, and talk to her.  They are infatuated with her and all her little movements and noises.  Wyatt is quite a sweety, giving her as many kisses as he can.  He is also quite taken with rubbing her head, which Avery calls "petting her".  One of their favorite things to do is have her hold their fingers.  I really hope this lasts because it is so cute!

Dark Haired Cutie

Rowynn Quinn entered the world on Saturday evening.  She weighed 7 lbs. 3 oz and measured 20 1/2 inches long.  She is such a cutie and we are so excited to have her with us!  It has been a whirlwind few days as she was admitted to the NICU with some breathing problems early Sunday morning.  We are hoping to head home today to start our life with little Rowynn and couldn't be happier to have her as an addition to our family.

Welcome to the world Rowynn!  We can't wait for you to meet all of your family and friends!

Boiler Up!

On Friday our Wainwright family of kiddos met up to ride the BoilerXpress on Purdue's campus.  They run the train every couple of weeks for free from 12-4 pm so it's quite a race to get there after work before they stop running the shuttle.  My friends, Kit and Katherine, tried to get all the kids there a couple of weeks ago and just missed it.  This week we were successful, but it was by the hair of our chinny chin chins!!!  A church member was helping to run the shuttle and really worked it out so we could have a short ride before they left for the day. [Side note: you can't even tell that I am 9 months pregnant here, but at 11 pm on this very day my water broke and Rowynn decided to start her entry into the world.]

These are our best friends Rhett (and his mom Kit) Julia (and her mom Katherine).  After our train ride we headed to the Purdue fountains for more fun!  On the way we stopped by what we call the dinosaur leaves.
