My Precious Cargo!

Yes .... you guessed it!  We are expecting!  I am now 5 months pregnant with another little girl.  We had our 20 week ultrasound yesterday and we caught just a glimpse of the precious cargo I have been carrying around.  She is a fiesty one who has been kicking with quite a strength for the past few weeks.  She put up quite a fight as the sonagrapher poked and prodded to get shots at various angles.  It was so fun to see the movement correspond with her kicks!  We couldn't be more excited and can't wait for this little one to bless our lives.  Avery is so excited to be a big sister - even at 2 years old she is my little mother.  She will be quite the helper.  She states often that she will hold her and that she can sleep in her bed with her.  Wyatt is hohum about the entire situation and is more interested in being a boy right now.  I'm sure when the time comes he will be excited, but for now he is enjoying life to the fullest!

Easter

Easter was so much fun this year.  We spent the weekend before Easter with Meemaw and Papa K and Easter weekend with Meemaw and Papa Asay.  It was wonderful to talk to Avery and Wyatt about the meaning of Easter.  They are taking in so much now and even though it's a little over their head now, we are certainly building a foundation for them!

This year was our first year really getting to decorate Easter eggs with Avery and Wyatt.  What fun!  They had a blast in wearing their aprons and bunny ("hop hop") ears.  The made the bunny ears at their sitter Mary's.  Isn't she just the coolest!  I thought I was being smart getting a sponge painting kit for the kids to use, but it turned out to be a little more intense then planned.  What's a little color ALL over your fingers and arms to go with your Sunday dress?  You would think we were a family of artists or something!

At Meemaw and Papa K's the kids opened up their awesome Easter baskets.  Can you even stand how cute Wyatt is in his new frog sunglasses?  They were also able to hunt for Easter eggs around the house (rain, rain go away!).  They had a ton of fun!

At the Asay household we had yet another Easter egg hunt and this time the weather held out.  The kids had a blast hunting for Easter eggs with their cousins.
Can you believe how grown up they look in their Easter get ups?  So cute!
