Family Matters

Just recently we were blessed to be visited by my younger sister who has been working and living in Abu Dhabi for the past 10 months or so. We have seen her since her and her husband moved their last July, but this visit was extra special for me because it was the first time I was able to see my little sister pregnant AND the first time she was able to meet her new niece and nephew. She is due in September and we couldn't be more excited for her. It was a pretty momentous occasion! Here are some photos of Kristen and Wyatt as well as Grandma and Grandpa K with Wyatt and Avery.

Easter Fun!

Sunday we celebrated our first Easter as a family of four. Morgan and I braved the trial of taking Wyatt and Avery to church for the first time. With a little planning the night before and great communication between Morgan and I, we made it to church on time. Morgan and I were up at 6 am to get to church at 11 am, but I guess that comes with the territory. Double the amount of people to get ready means more than double the time we need to get them ready! I think we all look pretty spiffy if you ask me.

After church we headed to Grandma and Grandpa Asay's to have Easter dinner. That required a change of clothes and an added bonus from Grandma Kemphues - Easter hats! Wyatt and Avery will probably not appreciate these when they are teenagers, but they sure look cute now!
