One Month Old

Rowynn is now one month old.

After just one month we are all head over heels in love with her!  She is reciprocating with some huge smiles and loving coos and goos.  Her favorite time of day is in the afternoon after she eats.  She loves to have a peek around while propped on someone's shoulder.  Her least favorite time of day is right around dinner time.  She just wants to be held and gosh darn it if mom doesn't have to make dinner!  Somehow we make it work and most of the time everyone stays happy.  Here's to another wonderful month!

Lately

As a second time mom I am realizing how quickly my "little" ones grew up upon bringing home a newborn.  Their mannerisms, speech, and physical appearance just seem to be more grown up.  I can't believe my little boy.  Isn't he the most handsome little guy you have ever seen?

 And need I mention my little mommy.  She is having just a bit of a rough time transitioning to this new routine.  Avery defintiley does not like to work on anyone else's schedule or routine and does not enjoy sharing her mom with Rowynn.  Below is a proud moment for her.  She built the tallest tower she could (and worked at it for about an hour as it kept breaking).  Mommy really played it up to reinforce what a wonderful job she did at being patient and trying really hard.  She now has her little mantra when things are tough...."keep trying"!  It also helps mommy when she is having a difficult time with something and her mini mom reminds her to "keep trying mommy!"



Bonefied Siblings

While my mom was here helping our family adjust to life with our new cutie, she was able to snag some matching PJ's for the kids while out on a shopping trip.  Last year Wyatt had the infamous Halloween skeleton PJ's and wore them until the pants were capris.  This year, the whole clan is proving to be bonefied siblings as they sport this year's ultimate Halloween pj's! 

I am amazed at how quickly Avery and Wyatt have taken to their new little sis.  Wyatt was caught on numerous occasions giving her kisses and just smiling at Rowynn while posing for some snapshots.
