Wiggles and Hiccups at 32 Weeks!

It's been an eventful couple of weeks! I have been off of work for a week now... thanks to my doctor! She said it was time for me to "take it easy". How can I take it easy when I will be bringing home two babies in a matter of 4 weeks now? Needless to say, I have spread out my to do list over the course of this week and have accomplished just about all that I set out to do - a little at a time. Don't worry about me doing too much though....each item was followed by a much needed nap with one of the cats or just a good rest in front of the tv with my feet up.

The nursery is just about cleaned up with a few items that are in the "I have no idea where to put this" category for the time being. I figure they will find a place at some point. Here is a sneak peak at one of the quilts that were finally finished this week as part of my list:)

Doesn't he look cute working so diligently on this...oh, I didn't mention that a lot of the items on my to do list were reminders for me to remind Morgan to do things! I try not to bog him down with to many to do's as he is in the middle of middle school wrestling season. He is doing a great job juggling work, sports, and an emotional mom-to-be and I couldn't be more proud of him!

As far as the babies - they are growing like weeds still and getting quite strong. We are at 32, almost 33, weeks now with another doctor's appointment next week. It is not rare to find Morgan and I in awe at the crazy movements of the twins each night before we go to bed (at least some of us try to sleep, but most of the time only one succeeds - I'll let you guess who it is!) They twist, turn, elbow, kick, and just the other night started a new phenomenon - hiccups. We are pretty sure it's our little boy who gets them at least once a day. He is quite the acrobat in there and seems to be doing most of the movin and shakin! The last time we saw them our little girl was head down and squished up in a tight ball because someone else is somewhat of a bully! She'll learn (once I teach her) to not let boys push her around anymore!

I think we have caught you up on the bunch of us - more to come soon!

  2. She'll learn to hold her own and give him to-do lists just like her mom! Thanks for the update! Good luck at the doctor this week.
